Book Blog Hop

Yes it’s that time again! (And no new posts since last time, although I have almost finished my current book so should be something new over the weekend or early next week). The Book Blog Hop hosted over at crazy-for-books.com is a great weekly event which helps bloggers to find each other, and I’ve found some great blogs through it. The best of which I’m letting you guys know about.

This week Jennifer is asking about the book we’re currently reading.

At the moment I’m reading A Million Little Pieces by James Frey. I’m not sure I would call it an exactly enjoyable read but I am finding I’m liking reading it. It’s about a man with drug and alcohol additions and how he is trying to overcome them. It has been a bit graphic in parts which have been hard parts to read but is generally an easy read. It’s a bit of a controversial book because there is some debate over whether it is a biography (it is written like one) or fiction. I won’t say more now because then it’l spoil my review as I am near the end!

  1. Came from the Hop! I have A Million Little Pieces on my shelf here at home. I think the whole controversy has made me keep putting off reading it. I have My Friend Leonard as well. I think I might start there first. Have a wonderful weekend! Let me know what you think when you finish the book!

It’s been on my shelf for a few years, the controversy put me off a bit too, but so far it’s certainly been worth the read. Maybe creep it up the pile a bit? I will certainly post a review when I am done.
