Let me be honest here, I do not like the This Little Piggy book. The rhyme, yes, but as a book, not so much. Part of the fun of the this little piggy rhyme is that it’s about interacting with the child, wiggling their toes, ticking them, that’s quite a bit hard with a book in your hand. Ok so the book has an advantage of pictures, but I don’t like the illustrations either. It hasn’t really been popular with the kid either up until now. However one kid has just come up from baby room and asks for this book again and again, and again. I don’t know what it is about it, but she seems to really like it.
I suppose there is the advantage for those who don’t already know the rhyme it teaches the rhyme and the actions.
The Cat and the Mouse is he third book I received from the author Mike Lockett, and actually had probably been our least read. Not because we don’t like it but because we prefer
