Children’s Hour

Children’s Hour is a feature here at Lucybird’s Book Blog which is posted every Thursday. Every week features a different children’s picture book which I have read with the kids at work (I work in a nursery).

Here you can find all the past Children’s Hour posts. Entries are in chronological order.

Here is the illustration I described:

And here is the Japanese picture, by Hokusai:

These might not come up as links – I love my IPad, but sometimes….

Oops, I meant my comment to be added to your posting about ‘Meg’s Eggs’, not to your general Children’s Hour page.

I like your reviews of children’s books, especially as you review books you have tried out with real, live children. Have you ever read them ‘Where the Wild Things Are’? Or, another favourite of mine, ‘Little Rabbit Foo Foo’ as told by Michael Rosen? I think I must like books about naughty boys :)

  4. I want to read them Where The Wild Things Are, they are really into monsters at the moment for some reason, but we don’t have it at work, maybe I should take it from home. I know Little Rabbit Foo Foo, but only from The Moldy Peaches song.
